Alan JosephGROVESIt is with regret that the family of Alan Groves wish to announce his peaceful passing at Kenwyn Care Home, Truro, on Monday, 13th May, 2019. Alan, aged 87 years, of Feock. The County Architect of Cornwall for more than 25 years. A former Feock Parish Councillor, yachtsman and a passionate rugby man. Loving father to sons, Colin and Graham, and doting grandfather to Abigail, Isabelle, Evie, Florrie and Jago. A great man who will be missed by all. Funeral service will be a celebration of Alan's life, on Tuesday, 28th May at 2pm, at St Feock Parish Church, followed by refreshments at the Punch Bowl and Ladle, Penelewey. The family will depart for a short service at Penmount Crematorium before re-joining everyone there. No flowers by request. Please note, parking for the service at St Feock Parish Church is limited. As a courtesy to all, attendees are asked wherever possible to car share, leaving cars at the Punch Bowl and Ladle.
