Geoffrey CharlesGRUNDYGeoff passed away on the Macmillan Unit at Derby Royal Hospital following a long illness. Geoff was a devoted husband to the late Jane Grundy (nee Lambe) treasured father to Katie-Jayne and trusted father in law to Paul, Grandad "Golly" to George and Eleanor. Geoff will be missed beyond measure by all his family and friends made in his long years of service in the Merchant Navy. A service to celebrate Geoffs life will be held at Amber Valley Memorial Park and Crematorium, Swanwick on Wednesday 5th February 2025 (the day which would have been celebrating his 80th Birthday) at 3.00 PM. Donations may be made in memory of Geoff to support the work of the RNLI Lifeboats these may be made at the service, online at Rydefuneral.co.uk or be sent c/o Thomas Ryde & Son, Belper.
