Cecil HerbertGULLENPassed away peacefully on 21st April 2020 aged 91 years. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. A private family funeral service will be taking place at Breakspear Crematorium on Friday 15th May 2020 at 2:45pm. Sadly, no other mourners are able to attend during this time. Please be with us in thought. Donations in his memory would be gratefully appreciated in aid of MS Society and forwarded via Hearnden-Smith and Daughters Funeral Directors, 3 School Parade, High Street, Harefield, UB9 6BT.

Farewell old friend.Cecil and myself knew each other from late 1940s through to late 1950s,when I moved overseas but
continued to keep in touch until the present time.He had an interesting life.This included early development work on
the Deltaic diesel; pioneer involvement in the expansion of the transcontinental commercial flying industry;training
assistance to emerging airforces in foreign countries and similar assignments.He later became a stalwart of the community,particulary towards the Scouting area.
Very forthright in his views, but always a gentleman.I will miss him.
