Elizabeth AnnGWILYM( Liz, the Hairdresser, Abercrave.) Suddenly but peacefully on Saturday 18th. March aged 67 years. Liz, of Bryncoch, formerly of Abercrave, much loved and adored mother of Suzanne, dear mother-in-law of Wayne, cherished gran of Emily, beloved sister of Peggy and loving Twin sister to the late David. Liz, will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephew, family and friends. Funeral service at Margam Crematorium on Tuesday 4th. April at 9.45 am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to the British Heart Foundation c/o Les Davies Independent Funeral Directors Neath Funeral Home, Main Road, Cadoxton, Neath, SA10 8AP. Tel 01639 642945. In memory of Liz you are invited to wear a daffodil to the service.

So sorry Suzanne to hear the sad news. I have fond memories of going to Sunday School and church with Liz and travelling together on the bus when she was working in Swansea and I was in Morriston back in the 70’s. My mother (Elvira) enjoyed their chats on the phone catching up on gossip.. Liz was a very special person with a heart of gold.
