To a dear brother
who was happy go lucky
who could make you laugh in minutes
if you ever met him you know what i would mean
in any household kitchen he walked in he would play the frying pan like george fornby (leaning on the lampost on the corner of the street)
and then go onto the play the soup spoons
you was older than me brother, but you looked after me when i was a kid
i remember when i was 8 or 9 you coming in from sea from a fishing trip and there was always a big bar of cadburys fruit and nut, and on landing day oh those shiny half crowns.
we didnt always see eye to eye when we worked together, but i think thats because in a strange way we was so alike. you was a true grafter yogi.
your with our mam now yogi and i hope your picking all the winning GG's
rest in peace until we meet again
always remeber you again once met never forgot
love from your brothers dennis &david your sister marlene and brother peter and your baby sister val. yogi smarter than the average bear xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Memories of a loving brother
who was happy go lucky all his life
and made me laugh everytime i saw him
and if you ever met him you'd understand just what i mean
he would have you laughing in minutes
even in a normal household kitchen he would pick the frying pan up and start playing it like george fornby (learning on the lampost on the corner of the street)
then go on to playing the soup spoons
you were older than me brother
but i had fond memories when i was a boy when i was 8/9 of you coming in from sea from a fishing trip and there was always a big bar of cadburys fruit and nut.
and on landing day oh those big shiny half crowns
we never always see eye to eye when we worked together cause in a strange way we were so alike
well i am going to miss you brother
and we will never forget you
rest in peace yogi till we meet again
