Loving Husband to Kim, devoted dad to Allie, Sophie, Richard and Nicola, Grandad to Alfie, Poppy, Seth and Honey.

Funeral service to be held on Monday 16th June at Haltemprice Crematorium, 1.30pm.

Family flowers only please however donations may be left at the service for Prostate Cancer UK and The Daisy Appeal.

God, I hope you’re looking after him up there. He always had such strong and gentle convictions that heaven exists and that he would see those he loved again. And I understand that now. I’d give anything to talk to him one more time or hold him. He was a wonderful dad, and my heart never stops hurting in his absence. I miss you, Padre. Hom hom.

Well my darling, a year has passed without you here, how can this be. How can you not be with us, loving us, supporting us, in your wonderful calm way. We all miss you so, so much but hope you are pain free and happy and with the rest of your family. Until we meet again my dearest man. Yours always Special 'K' xx

Sorry to hear about your loss...he will be with my dad now. I have fond memories of my childhood visiting Uncle David but as you do when you get older lost touch. Life is so short but i know David had a good and full life with a loving family.
