John MelvinHAGANPassed away suddenly at his home on Thursday 15th September 2022, aged 76 years. Much loved Husband and best friend to Jane, Dad to Anna & Christopher, Grandad to Fin. He will be sadly missed by many. A Funeral service will be held at the North Devon Crematorium on Thursday 6th October 2022 at 14:20. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, for The Devon Air Ambulance or Cancer Research, may be given by retiring collection or sent c/o A.H Johns Funeral Services Maple Park Woolsery Bideford EX39 5QP

Did John and Jane live at 25 River Valley Road, Chudleigh Knighton briefly in the late 1970s?
If so I am James, and I was the little boy who lived next door and used to love to play with your big yellow dog - was it a labrador or a retriever?
I'm now 53 and still remember those days, even though I was about 5 at the time!
Sorry to hear about John, but I have always remembered John and Jane Hagan - it's a name that sticks!

Dear Jane, Anna and Christopher.

I'm so upset to read about John, and dearly regret not keeping in touch. He always made the time to visit me and my Mum when working locally and I have some very happy memories. I know that after 2 years, you probably won't get this message but I'm sending you all my love and good wishes.
