Have just read this, and can't believe Wayne has gone. He did loads of DIY for us, always a laugh. He never forgave me for giving a small monkey puzzle tree to my daughter, because he wanted it for the pub! He kept asking how the tree was, and when I told him it was no more due to a lack of watering, he said 'told you, you should have let me have it'. A great bloke, who will be so missed. Our condolences to Wayne's family and friends. RIP Wayne.

To Mandy and all the family so sorry for your loss, so many happy memories of Wayne on the football pitch in all weathers/seasons where his agility, speed and cheek with comments such as "where was you?" while celebrating another goal were evident for all to see and on reflection brings a joyful reminder not only of his many skills but to those long happy days without attitude, tattoos, or mobile phones, just a party line. In addition I thank Wayne for his words of advice and help with home DIY and refurbishment construction skills over the years. No doubt during future restoration projects I will be reminded of Wayne's skills and humour through the empty chocolate wrappers, crisp packets, and/or other food items hidden behind cavity walls or under the floorboards etc. Thanks for all the wonderful memories Wayne
