Denis JamesHALLTredegar. The funeral took place on Thursday May 1 2008 of the late Denis James Hall of 92, Ashvale, Tredegar, who at the age of 81 years died peacefully at Nevill Hall Hospital on April 22. The service at Siloh Uniting Church was followed by interment at Cefn Golau Cemetery. Rev M Shephard officiated, the organist was Mr H Davies. Family mourners: Mrs Joan Hall (wife), Denise, Christopher and Christine (children), Hugh (son-in-law), Rachael, James and Caitlin (grandchildren), Jack, Aneirin and Elise (great- grandchildren), Cliff Hall, Graham Hall (brothers), Florrie Hall, Maureen Hall (sisters-in law), Gerald Whedon (brother-in-law). The bearers were Meirion, Lee, Thomas (grandsons), Ian Fleming, John Hall, Philip Hall. Joan and her family wish to take this opportunity to publicly thank all their family and friends for the many kind expressions of sympathy, the cards of condolence and the support they have received following the sad loss of a much loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will missed so very much. Special thanks to all who gave of their time to attend Denis' funeral service at Siloh and the cemetery, such a large number, far too many to mention individually, was indeed a source of comfort and a big thank you for the generous donations in lieu of floral tributes. Many thanks to the Paramedics who attended and all the staff of the Coronary Care Unit for their loving care and kindness. Grateful thanks to Paul Smith and the staff at Vaughan Bros. for their kind help and understanding at this very difficult time.
