MichaelHALLFOLLOWING a short illness, suddenly but peacefully, at his home on Tuesday, January 14, Mick, aged 71 of Accrington. The devoted and loved partner of Ann, father of Bernard, Cheryl and Simon, dear brother of Maurice and the late Margaret, Ted and Pat. Mick's working life was as a long distance HGV driver, he worked for many years for Prestige Medical Group, he enjoyed his work and loved to be out on the open road. Mick was devoted to his partner Ann of 11 years. Together they loved to travel and always looked forward to getting away for some rest and relaxation in the warm sunshine, enjoying many holidays around Europe. Mick was a regular and well known face in the Regency Pub, Accrington where he loved to meet up with his mates for a pint and a natter. His favourite football team was Manchester United and he also supported his local team Accrington Stanley. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. The funeral service took place on Wednesday, January 29 at Accrington Crematorium. Donations are being received in memory of Mick on behalf of The Salvation Army c/o funeral director Champ Funeral Services.
