HeatherHALLIt is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Heather Hall, of (Castleside) on (2nd March 2023), at the age of 78 years. Our beloved mother and grandma peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones. We still find it so hard to believe she has gone, and we miss her every day. Heather will be lovingly remembered by her two children Julie and David and her two grandchildren Jack and Leana. She will be deeply missed by her sister Muriel and her other family members and friends. What can we say about the greatest mum? Heather was always surrounded by a wide and deep circle of friends and family. While she was ill for a period of time, she never lost her sense of joy and her wide smile, and she knew how to make others feel warm and welcome. Heather was the most incredible woman and had a heart of gold, a smile of pure joy which lighted the room, a kindness that extended to all she knew. She was the most unique kind hearted and generous person one could ever know. Heather loved her home at Castleside and despite her ill health was able to get home to see her garden and birds which were the love of her life before she sadly passed away. Although our beloved mum was without a doubt taken too soon, we can take comfort in the love that we share for each other as a family. Family was everything to Heather. If our mum was here today, she would tell us to be strong, do what makes us happy, to enjoy the music and dance, to stick together and have each others back. Dear Mum, thank you for giving us the best and loving us unconditionally. You were always our biggest cheerleader and we feel lost without you. Mum, you were not just a mum and grandma, you were our best friend, our support, our confidant and someone we always turned to. We will always love you and treasure you in our hearts. Your loving memories will always make you still very much part of our lives and we will treasure your love for ever. May you enjoy heavenly bliss. A church service will be held at (10.15), on (Monday 3rd April 2023), at Rowley Baptist Church, Rowley, Consett, Durham, DH8 9AQ. This will be followed by a cremation at Mountsett Crematorium at 11.00am. A Celebration of life and get together will be held for all family and friends at the Demi, 45 Albert Rd, Consett DH8 5QU at 11.30. All are welcome. Memorial Donations may be made in the name of Heather Hall to the Air Ambulance Service in lieu of flowers. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at University Hospital of North Durham for their care and compassion.
