My darling Rick.
I can’t believe you’re gone, and whilst I’m thankful you’re not in pain anymore, I’ll miss you very much.
I remember meeting you all those years ago on the supporters coach, and since that day we became very good friends, and our football family over the years grew and grew and we all will miss you, football will not be the same.
I’ll miss our chats on the supporters coach going all over the country, supporting our CTFC. I’ll miss your chats over a pint of cider, discussing, most probably a loss! Towards the end, I’ll miss your phone calls after games asking how it went, how we played and most importantly how bad was the ref!!!
Here’s a picture of us with the League Two trophy when Covid took that away from us, and even though you’ve been taken away from us I’ll never forget you, and will make sure I cheer on the Robins for you. We’ll never forget you, and even so I’ll cherish those memories even more.
You were like a grampy to me at the football and always looked after me, I’ll never forget that. You were such a kind and generous soul.
Until we meet again Rick, I love you so very much! ❤️⚽️
Jamie!
