John EdwardHAMMERSLEYAged 83 years. It is with much sadness we announce that on the 7th December 2024, John passed away suddenly at home.
Loved dearly by Val, his wife of 60 years, his brother, Chris, half-sister Susan, his children, Paul, Elaine, and John, his grandchildren, Julia and Annabelle, and extended family and friends. We all miss him a great deal already.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday 9th January 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at St Paul's Church, Little Eaton - the village in which he grew up and spent much of his life - followed by burial with his mother, Mary, in the churchyard. All welcome.
Flowers welcome. Donations in lieu will support the British Heart Foundation and can be left at the service or sent care of Archway Funeral Service, 16 Chapel Street, Ripley, DE5 3DL (01773 749028).
