Janet ElizabethHAMNETTPassed away peacefully in her sleep on 31st July 2022, aged 62 years. Cherished wife to the late Martin, loving mum of Hazel, Mark and Tim. Much loved Granny of James, Tyler, Keelan, Oscar and Isobel. Survived by her parents Peter and Beryl. Adored mother-in-law/sister/cousin/aunt. Janet will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Service will take place at Manchester Crematorium, Old Chapel on Monday 22nd August 2022 at 3pm. Family flowers only. Donations if desired in Janet's memory to Muscular Dystrophy. All enquiries to C Taylor Funeral Directors Tel 0161 223 0793.

Jan, you were hands down the greatest woman I ever had the privilege to know, what you did for me and what you told me will forever be in my heart and mind, it breaks my heart to know that I’ll never be be able to run up to you, give you a big kiss and hug you and for you to give me a hug back and call me an idiot for whatever reason. I’ll miss your for every day I live, you absolute star. The world is a much darker place without you in it but I take solace knowing your back with Martin now. My heart will always be missing a piece. Rest easy Jan, thank you for everything. Joff
