Shirley MargaretHAMPSHIREOn 1st January 2023, suddenly at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, Shirley aged 55 years of Birkby. The much loved mother of Peter, John and Rebecca, dearly loved daughter of John and Margaret, a dear sister of Susan, sister in law of Keith, very dear auntie of Benjamin and Oliver and a beloved niece of Anne. Funeral service at Huddersfield Crematorium on Wednesday 1st February at 2.45pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if wished are to be shared between Water Aid and Simon on the Streets c/o Radcliffe Funeral Service, 16 Westgate, Honley, Holmfirth, HD9 6AA or online at radcliffefuneralservice.co.uk - obituaries. A donation box will be available at the service. Will friends please accept this intimation and meet at the Crematorium.

Shirley was one of the most kindest selfless people I have ever met. She shared much of this kindness and gave so much of her time even though she knew the same true intentions weren’t always shared.

Shirley loved and adored her family and her close friendships. Nothing was more important. She was certainly a true and strong character. She was classy and admired for her no nonsense approach including her moral code which she also installed in her beloved family.

Shirley was a shining light who is much loved and cherished and has now left a huge void. The world is a little darker with her passing. I am so, so privileged, honoured and proud to call her one of my closest friends. She will be sorely missed and will always be in my thoughts. Shirley, all my love. RIP xxx
