Frederick WilliamHAMPSON(Heaton) Dr Ing. Prof. F. W. MPhil, PhD, CChem, CEng. FRSC, FIMechE, FIMMM, EurIng Died aged 89 years peacefully at home on Monday 1st May 2023. A dearly loved son of the late Constance and George Hampson of Harrogate, Yorkshire. Please meet for service at West Road Crematorium Newcastle NE5 2JL on Thursday 8th June at 11:45am. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in support of the Tanfield Railway, Stanley DH9 9UY. Afterwards friends are welcome to the Benwell Hill Cricket Club, West Road NE15 7EU. I'm so sorry to see of his passing my older brother (Thomas Ashcroft) and I spent alot of time at Tanfield railway and I loved seeing him when I was little walking the platform sending love to the family
