In memory of Aunty Judy (my mother’s brother’s first wife),

Aunt Judy’s passing, at a good age, is still a reminder that life is short. One assumes that the years will keep coming, and yet, there are these reminders that life is short, too short, and yet also a gift.

As I think back, I have some vague childhood memories of Judy: in Glasgow, in Peterborough.

As I reflect, on Aunt Judy’s passing, I realize all too late that it would have been nice to meet up, at least once, before the day of separation. I see that my Aunt lived next to a place I have visited for orienteering, Anglesey. An opportunity lost because I did not have her contact details. My family have been planning to walk to the top of Snowdon. It would have been nice to pop by for a cup of tea.

Well, it is a reminder for the cousins, that we should meet up more often.

Shalom BeYeshua HaMashiach!
