JanetHARDIEJanet Hardie, of Helmshore, known to many friends as Jessie, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side, on Wednesday, February 17. A much loved care assistant, who worked for many years at Turfcote Nursing Home, and previously at Danesmoor Care Home. A very sociable lady who loved people and going to bingo, where she had many friends. Janet will now be reunited with her late daughter Angela. She leaves behind her partner of many years Raymond, along with daughters Anne, Sandra, Beverley, June, Patricia and Lynette, grandchildren Stuart, Edward, Melissa, Rosie, Amber, Annie and Sadie, and greatgranddaughters. Due to current restrictions a private funeral service will take place at Accrington Crematorium Chapel, followed by a burial at Haslingden Cemetery, on Wednesday, March 10. Family flowers only; donations if desired in memory of Janet to the Alzheimer’s Society c/o funeral director Caroline Holden-Dewhurst for Johnson, Durning and Woods Funeral Service.
