EdwinHARGREAVESMr Edwin Hargreaves, of Lee Road, Bacup died in Barley View Care Home, Whitworth on Sunday, February 18, aged 88 years. A service will be held at the Chapel of Rest on Tuesday, March 5 at 1.10pm, followed by cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 1.45pm, conducted by Ms Gemma Rooke. Edwin was born in Stacksteads and lived in the Bacup/Stacksteads area all of his life. He was employed by The Britannic Assurance Company for many years up until his retirement. He enjoyed playing bowls in Bacup park and golf at Bacup Golf Club. He also kept poultry as a hobby. He leaves his wife Barbara, daughter Anne and her husband Brent, daughter Jane, grandchildren Scott and his wife Amanda, Jonathon and partner Pia, Kelly, Aisling and her partner Ian, great grandchildren Kai, Baylee, Oscar and Lennox, sister in law Susan, nephews, nieces and many friends.
