Stanley D.F.CHARLE(Morpeth). Peacefully passed away in the Freeman Hospital, aged 94 years, Stanley (Stan), a dear brother of Eleanor and Dorothy, brother-in-law of Bill, dearly loved uncle and great uncle who will be sadly missed by his many friends. Please meet for Funeral Service at West Road Crematorium on Friday 29th January at 1.15pm. Family flowers only please by request, donations in lieu if desired to R.A.F Benevolent Fund. Stan came into my mind this morning. He was my late father’s former boss and they kept in touch for decades afterwards. My father liked and very much respected him. He often spoke fondly of Stan.
