ValerieHARRIESPassed away on Dec 21, 2014 of bronchopneumonia at UHW, Valerie aged 58 years, of Penylan; Downs Syndrome daughter of the late Megan and Eric, her life touched many, including brother Raymond, sister Ann, brother-in-law Emlyn, niece Sarah and husband James, niece Ruth and husband Michael, members of the Cardiff Chameleons, Cardiff Mencap, Cardiff Strikers, Tremorfa Day Services, as well as countless other friends and relatives. Resting with Michael G Ryan Son & Daughters Ltd, 302a North Rd, Cardiff, funeral service to celebrate her wonderful life will be held on Thursday Jan 15, 2015 at 1.15pm, Albany Rd Baptist Church, Cardiff, prior to a private interment at Pantmawr Cemetery. All donations, in lieu of flowers, will be passed to Valerie's charities Cardiff Chameleons, Cardiff Strikers or Cardiff Mencap Society c/o Raymond Harries. Following the funeral all are welcome for light refreshments at Albany Rd Baptist Church, CF24 3NU, to share memories and celebrate Valerie's life.
