BettyHARRIESNee Wooles It is with great sadness we announce that Betty Harries passed away after a short illness at Llandough Hospital on 23rd of February at the age of 97. Betty lately of Baltimore Care Home, Barry was born in St. Mary's Avenue, Barry in 1920 where she grew up with parents Albert and Ellen. Betty is predeceased by husband Ray who died in 1990, son Richard and sisters Joan, Barbara and Sylvia. Betty will be sadly missed by all who knew her particularly her loving sons Derek, John and Bryan, daughters-in-law Patti, Sally, Cynthia and Katherine; grandchildren Sarah, Dylan, Sian, Claire, Laura, Sophie, Josie and Anna; and her 9 great-grandchildren. Grateful thanks to Baltimore Care Home staff for their care and kindness to Betty during the last 2 years. Her funeral will take place at Vale of Glamorgan Crematorium on Tuesday 6th March at 4 pm. Floral tributes are welcome and may be sent to Park Funerals, 7 Tynewydd Road, Barry.
