Thirty years ago today you left us to join your fallen brothers that passed on the beach of Normandy. You survived that day only to join them so many years later. Without your and their sacrifice that day we would not be here today. You were a truly kind, loving, decent and remarkable man who survived what no man should. You showed us what it meant to be honest and brave you fought until the very end. We think of you with love and gratitude every day.
