David JohnHARRISPeacefully on Friday 24th March 2023, surrounded by his family David (Dave) aged 69 years of Penzance. Former Head Teacher of St Ives Secondary School. Beloved husband of Sue, much loved dad of Jonathan and Josh, loving Ackoo of Frida and Felix, brother, uncle, and friend to many. A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday 11th April 2023, 2.30 pm at Chapel Street Methodist Church, Penzance. Family flowers only but donations accepted on behalf of Cancer Research UK. W.C. David was the best teacher and head teacher that st ives school ever had , he helped me and many others a lot at school and most of us had more respect for him than any other teachers , great bloke , great sense of humour he made teaching fun and not to serious.
