Lenette GeorgianaHARRISMs. Lenette Harris, 78, of Bramley Grove Care Home, formerly of Elmdale Crescent, died on Monday 29th January 2024 at Bramley Grove Care Home following a short illness.
Born in Montserrat, Ms. Harris moved to the UK in her early 20s where she was employed in hospitality before starting her career in nursing.
Ms. Harris qualified as a General Nurse, Midwife and next went on to enjoy a long career as a Psychiatric Nurse; at Hollymoor Hospital, Reaside Clinic spending the remainder of her career at Garden Lodge in the role of a Staff Nurse before retiring.
Ms. Harris was a member of Christian Life Church and was an active member in her bible study group and exercise classes. Ms. Harris enjoyed travelling and learning new skills such as flower arranging.
Surviving her, are her three daughters, Amethyst, Gweneth and Victoria as well as her son Reynaldo and her beautiful grandchildren.
A service will be held on Tuesday 5 March 2024 at 12pm at the Christian Life Church, 900 Bristol Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham, B29 6HW, followed by a burial at Kings Norton Cemetery, Longdales Road, Kings Norton, Birmingham, B38 9BQ.
Ms. Harris requested no flowers, and has asked instead for memorial contributions to be made to the charity, WaterAid.
