East Riding Of Yorkshire | Published in: Hull Daily Mail. Notable areas: Hull

KenHARRISONHARRISON.- Ken. Hull City no 7. Though we never saw you run down the line, the stories people told of how you played brought you adulation that you never sought. The tales of Boothferry of 54, the joy to the crowds that you must have brought. The memories of them won't be lost as the ones you gave to us will be treasured and you are now reunited with Carter, Bly and Co to play again with the team that gave so much pleasure.- Tony and Phil.

To Tony and Phil

David, Mark and myself where very sad to see the news about Ken, we where at City on Saturday and the notice came up on the big screen. We enjoyed our days playing a few holes with your Dad and our Dad and also the many golf lessons we received.

My mother would also like to express her condolences at this time to both of you and your families. We all have happy memories of you Dad, Betty latterly chatting to him on the bus to Cottingham when he used to go for a game of dominoes.

Not many people have childhood memories like we have of spending a lot of time with their Dads playing sport, we where very lucky.
