MoyraHARTLEYMoyra Hartley, of Lower Hollin Farm, died on Sunday, November 1, aged 90. Moyra started in the slipper industry, before meeting her husband-to-be Robert. They married in 1952 and she started life as a farmer’s wife, where she ran Green Law Farm until 1972, and then retired to Lower Hollin Farm. She enjoyed dressmaking and crosswords. Wife of the late Robert, she leaves son David and three grandsons Daniel, Adam, and Ben, nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law Margaret. The funeral will be held on Friday, November 20, at 10.45am at Burnley Crematorium, led by Kathy Unsworth. Family flowers only please, with donations if desired to the Royal British Legion.
