Robert Nelson BobHARVEYHARVEY Robert Nelson (Bob). A modest and kindhearted man, passed away in his Children's arms at 2.30 p.m., Saturday, August 2, 2008 while being cared for at St. Peter's Hospice, Bristol. Born to Maud and Nelson in Norwich, February 2 1946, Bob grew up in Long Stratton with Brothers Michael and Steven. Father to Ben, Nicola and Elizabeth, he worked as a technical photographer at W.R.O., in Oxfordshire. He later lived near Bristol and eventually retired from L.A.R.S., where he had been a pioneer of aerial photography. Bob was moved by music and loved the electric guitar. he derived great pleasure from the natural world and becoming Grandfather to Isaac was his proudest moment. Service at South Bristol Crematorium, 2.45 p.m., August 14. Wake at The Ship, Portishead.
