RosariaHASHIMPeacefully at home on 11 September 2021 with her loving family around her, Rosa Nee Polito aged 88 years. A loving mother, grandmother, great nona, sister and Aunt. Rosa was a restauranteur running The Francis / Rembrandt Restaurant and lately the Steps Coffee Bar for over 40 years on the Cambridge Market Square. Rosa was a well known figure of the Cambridge community and was a vibrant and well known character and a dear friend to many. Funeral service and cremation at Cambridge Crematorium East Chapel, Cambridge on Thursday 30 September 2021 at 10.30am. All welcome. Dress code to reflect Rosa's vibrancy in life. Rosa will be remembered for her kindness and generosity for those in need and her beautiful caring ways. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers will be divided between The Arthur Rank Hospice at Home and the British Heart Foundation online or sent c/o Woodland Wishes Funeral Services, 4 High Street, Fulbourn Cambridge CB21 5DH 01223 880002.

Zia Rosa, we are all so sad that you have left us. These terrible times denied us from spending much time with you over the last 18 months which only makes the sadness deeper. You did much for our family and took special care of our father when he needed support and guidance. Our family will always be grateful to you.

The last time I saw you, you told me that your only sadness was that your mother and father did not get a chance to see the life you made here in England. I am sure they will be proudly waiting to greet you now.
