It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terence Haslum, a cherished father who passed away peacefully on 2nd October 2026, aged 85 years.
Terry spent most of his life working as a Sheet Metal Worker, & in later years as a Market Trader a familiar and much-loved face in and around Leicester. Known for his hard work, friendly nature and warm smile, he made many lasting friendships and touched the lives of countless people throughout the years.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Terry leaves behind precious memories that will be treasured forever.
A service to celebrate Terry's life will be held at Gilroes Crematorium [West Chapel] on Thursday 29th October at 12:30pm, followed by a celebration of his life at The Crows Nest, 1 Glenfield Rd, East, Leicester LE3 5QW. All are warmly welcome to attend.
To honour 'The Man In Black', Terry's family and friends are invited to wear black with a splash of colour to celebrate his life.
Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, may be made in Terry's memory to Parkinson's UK.
"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed and forever dear."
