Shirley WilsonHATCHIt is with great sadness that the family announces her passing on 15th January 2023, at the age of 76. Shirley passed away following a period of ill health at her home in Braunton with her son Lee by her side. She survived her beloved husband Stan by a couple of months, and Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Julie and her husband David, her son Lee and his partner Melissa, and her four grandchildren, Dotty, Milly, Edie and Charlie. Shirley of Braunton, and formerly Hillingdon and Glasgow, was a retired administrator and enjoyed a career of nearly 30 years at Brunel University, she was an extremely social person and hosted many parties for friends, she loved to paint seascapes and potter in the garden, and her travels abroad over the years brought her great joy. The funeral service will be held at North Devon Crematorium, Barnstaple, at 3pm on Friday 3rd March. All who knew Shirley are welcome to attend. The family ask that in lieu of flowers charitable donations are made to the North Devon Hospice by retiring collection or c/o L.
