ByronHATFIELDSadly on the 1st March 2022, after a long illness and a brave fight, Byron passed away at home surrounded by his loving family, aged 90 years. A loving and devoted husband of 70 years to Eileen, a devoted father to Roger and Trevor, a loving father-in-law to Lynn and Annette, a special grandad to Craig, Ellen, Colleen and the late Adam. Special great-grandad to Alexander and William and a great friend to many. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A service to celebrate Byron's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Wednesday 23rd March 2022, at 12 noon. Donations in Byron's memory may be sent directly to the Stroke Unit, Scunthorpe General Hospital, Cliff Gardens, Scunthorpe, DN15 7BH, with cheques made payable to the Health Tree Foundation.
