LorraineHAWESA death has occurred of Lorraine Hawes, born on 16th June 1944 in Cape Town. She came to East Kilbride in 1962 and worked as a Classics teacher - first in Duncanrig and then at Hunter High. She will be sorely missed by family, friends, colleagues and students. Funeral service will take place on Friday 20th September at South Lanarkshire Crematorium at 3.30pm.

Just come across this post. Miss Hawes was an amazing teacher!! She made a huge and positive impression on me. I loved my Latin lessons and still love it today. Rest in Peace.
