Alan GeoffreyHAWKESPeacefully on 9th November, at Morriston Hospital. Dear husband of Pauline, beloved father of Christine and Malcolm, loving grandfather to Sebastian and Phoebe, devoted grand-dogfather to Ciarán, Layla, and Tiny Thomas. Namesake of the Hawkes Centre for Empirical Finance, and discoverer of the Hawkes process. Alan was an inspiration to many. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Funeral service Wednesday 22nd November 2023, 3.15pm at Oystermouth Cemetery Woodland Section.
