Alun was a good friend to me as he was to so many clergy. He was always helpful, friendly and kind. His funeral at Bangor Cathedral was an excellent testimony to his life and work. Treasure your fond memories of him.

Remembering a very special friend ever since our first meeting in autumn 1963 as freshers at London University when Alun’s Welsh name and my 1 March birthday name created a bond that saw our two families closely linked for more than 60 years. David, and Helen and Andrew.
