Peter Kent (Pete)HAYDENPassed away peacefully at home on 9th June 2022 aged 79 years, after a long illness. He will be sadly missed by his wife Maureen, their children Neil and Carla and grandchildren Thomas, Abbie, Liam, Kai and Jolie. He will be missed by all his friends and family including those from the walking, conservation, language and U3A groups he was involved in. A celebration of his life will be held at Bramcote Crematorium at 2p.m. on Monday 27th June in the Serenity Chapel. For those attending the funeral, please wear bright colours. Family flowers only please but if desired donations in memory of Pete to be divided between the MND Association, British Red Cross and 'Friends of Colliers Wood' may be given at www.gillots.co.uk/petehayden, at the funeral service, or sent to Gillotts Funeral Directors, The Old Church, Main Street, Kimberley NG16 2LL, Tel: 0115 938 6720. We would also like to thank all the MND nursing staff at the Neurology Department at QMC and the District Nurses for all the care and attention given to Pete and the family. Too dearly loved to ever be forgotten.
