JohnHAYNESAged 89 years. Passed away peacefully on 6th September 2022. Beloved husband of 69 years to Hilda. Loving dad to Judith and father in law to Derek. Much loved grandad of Ella. John was an Ex Councillor of Bedworth Urban District Council, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, Warwickshire County Council and a former Teacher at Nicholas Chamberlaine School. A long serving trustee of the Nicholas Chamberlaine Foundation John will be greatly missed. Funeral service to be held at Mill St Methodist Church, Bedworth. CV12 8JZ on Tuesday 27th September 2022 at 12:30pm followed by cremation at the Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton. Family Flowers only by request. The family would like any donations to be shared between the British Heart Foundation or Zoe's Place in memory of John which can be made via J.E.Hackett and Sons website (make a donation), on the day or by post to J.E.Hackett and Sons Ltd 93 Leicester Road, Bedworth CV12 8AH. I remember John from the early 1960s when I used to take my union subs to his house in Briadean Avenue on a Sunday morning for the AUEW Union and later on at the White Swan pub.
I was chair and vice chair of Bedworth Neighbourhood Watch..John always supported us, and attended most meetings.
Thank you John for all your help and kindness over the years.
You are going to be missed in Bedworth. RIP my friend.

Goodbye to a very special man! I will always remember you for the support you gave me when I first became a Parent Governor at Hob Lane School right through to when I became Chair of Governors at St Michael's School. You will be sadly missed by the people of Bedworth. RIP John x
