Matthew was a year below me in school, but we both started college over Nash at the same time… this was when and where the friendship really clicked..
We were both apprentice carpenters and we shared the same workbench at Nash College. Matthew & I were by far the loudest in the workshop/classroom… as you can imagine. The friendship didn’t stop on a Friday afternoon in college, we would go partying together and I took Matthew to his first all night rave in Swansea… he loved it!
After the three year apprenticeships, we both went into full time employment, so we never got to see each other as much.
Matthew was a very generous and very likeable lad… sometimes misunderstood, but a very caring individual.
I have amazing memories of you mate and you’ll be sorely missed. R.I.P.

So sad to hear and sending love to family on Matthews passing. Have such fond memories of Matthew, he was so funny as a child, have smiled at the memory this afternoon in spite of the sadness. Be at peace Matthew x
