Norma AleneHAZZLEDINE (MBE)It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Norma on Friday 23rd August 2024, at Nottingham City Hospital, at the age of 85 years.

A Funeral Service to Celebrate her life will be held at
Bramcote Crematorium ~ Serenity Chapel on
Monday 23rd September 2024 at 12 noon.

All are welcome to attend.

After the service all are invited to The Erewash Indoor Bowls Club, Grange Park, Off Station Rd, Long Eaton, Nottingham, NG10 2EE

Donations in her memory will benefit the continued works of Alzheimer's Research UK.

I will remember Norma with love and I treasure the happy memories of our life together as we were neighbours and friends.
We were at school together and later we both worked in Nottingham, I was with her at a dance when she met Bill her future husband. I was honoured to be asked to be one of their bridesmaids .
For years we have kept in touch and I managed to visit her when she was at a bowls match in Leamington.
In 2015 she came to our Golden wedding lunch and met my family again, it was lovely to see her there.
I will miss our weekly e mails during her illhealth and hope that she is now at peace.
