William AllenHEADLEYIt is with deep sadness the family announce the sudden death of Bill, on 4th April 2023, aged 83 years. A loving and devoted husband of Marge, a Cherished dad of Mark and Jayne, a much loved grandad and great grandad, a brother, uncle and a good friend to many, Bill will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Thursday 4th May 2023 at 1.30pm. By request family flowers only please, but if so desired donations may be made to Help for Heroes and placed in the donation box following the service. Bill was my best mate. I have only just been able to discover when he passed away. I went to Australia and lost contact but, in 2017, I saw a letter he had written to the Telegraph and they put us touch. We managed to catch up a year or so later when we visited my father.Sad to read of his death. Condolences to Marge.
