Danny Heath....What a guy!..a brother who helped me through some bad times and shared a house in Manchester with me for a for a while...'with the bully's!...'
Then 'Magdalen House' in Llandudno when the Church was opposing us he kept faith and cheerful through it all...helping everyone through the benefits system and making sure people feel welcome. He was fiercely loyal...despite His own battles in himself...Which the MJA..Danny was a true brother...he was loved by everyone who lived at Sheepfold..His sense of humour, even in tough times was always evident.
Danny was a man who made people underestimate him..He was highly intelligent, he could talk philosophy and psychology one minute and then with some quip about monkeys and have everyone rolling about laughing the next. He had a passion for chess..always looking for someone to give him a game...they usually couldn't! And the game would become a lesson...I learned a lot from Danny...not just chess but how to approach life as a Christian..cheerful, determined and being a loyal friend...Don,t get me wrong Danny was no angel...He was moody, sarcastic...sometimes his humour was very cutting and people found him prickly to know...he could be very cynical!
But it was all that made Danny who he is...He was worth getting to know...He challenged all pomposity and didn't suffer fools or bully's and He is never far from my heart or mind....I look forward to seeing him in God's presence transfigured and healed...To all who are his friend a join you in missing him .
