Auntie Joan was one of the kindest and loveliest person you would ever meet. She was wise, dignified and such an inpirational role model to her young nieces. I remember very fondly the enjoyment of staying with her and Uncle Geoff at Nottingham, Leicester and Whitely Bay where she was generosity personified. I am so sorry to have to miss being with everyone at her funeral to pay my respects and say farewell to her. She has left the world a better place and that is a very fitting legacy.
