We always had a lovely time with Norma when visiting Anne in Liverpool and when she came up to Sunderland. A few glasses of fizz may have been involved over the years. A very warm and generous lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Much love to Anne, Jill and family.

My dear Norma, we met as colleagues 46 years ago but soon became good friends. We shared so much fun, laughter (and tears) over the years, our birthday club lunches and weekends will not be the same without you. You'll be missed so much but you and your funny little sayings will not be forgotten - you'll live on in our memories and hearts. It's been a joy and privilege to call you my friend. Rest in peace beautiful lady. Pauline x

Aunty Norma, I will always remember you for the kind hearted person who would have done anything for anyone. You were so good to Nana Nancy after her stroke and that meant the world to her, you were her best friend and someone I always looked up to and respected. I can’t believe you are gone, you will be forever in our thoughts. Goodnight god bless, love from Phil, Jess, Luan and Lio.

I’ve known Norma as long as I’ve known my best friend Anne - 56 years. Loved her company, especially when sharing “ a little g and t”.

Rest in Peace dear Norma, with your beloved John. Julie xxx
