MichaelHEGARTYPassed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the Queens Centre, Castle Hill Hospital on 11th August 2024 aged 76 years. Soulmate and devoted husband of Jac, much loved dad of Helen, Dawn, in-laws Ricky and Frith. Treasured grandad Mike to Katrina, Natalie, Harvey, Mollie, Emmie, Edwin and adored special great-grandad to Millie, Harrison, Milo and Violet.

A Service to celebrate Michael's life will be held in the Birch Hall, Lelley Fields Crematorium on Friday 30th August at 1:30pm.

No flowers please by request, donations for the Macmillan Nurses may be left at the Service.

At the family's request black optional.

Everyone welcome back at the Punch Bowl, James Reckitt Avenue to continue celebrating Mike's life after the funeral.

It was with great sadness that I learnt of Mike’s passing but at least he is no longer suffering.I would like to pass on my heartfelt condolences to Jackie and family as they grieve for their sad loss.I have known Mike all my life and we had some great times together cycling and camping in our youth and although we lost touch for a while I am so pleased we manage to socialise again in our later years.
