HEIDI LYNCHwas killed aged 28 in a car crash in Gowerton, South Wales on 26 June, 2009.From Gowerton herself, she was an ex-pupil of both Dillwyn Llywelyn and Dwr y Felin comprehensive schools.On leaving school, she worked for a short time in the post room at the South Wales Evening Post before moving on to work in a local veterinary surgery.However, her love for people led her to a career as a mobile care assistant where she spent a number of years caring for people in her local community.Her family paid tribute to her in a statement saying: "Heidi had a passion for people and was committed to caring for the local community."She loved to care for people and animals, and spent a number of years caring for the elderly and disabled. We are devastated by what has happened and we will miss her so much".

Last week on tues 23.06.09 or wed 24.06.09 I had a text off an unrecognised number , "Hi hun this is my new number, hope ur ok Heidi xxx", I saw the hun and knew it was you, I said I was fine and you should call in for coffee soon and you said you would. On sat 27.06.09 I lost my phone with your new number in, and then on Monday 29.06.09 I saw the paper and could not believe it, my first thought was it can't be true and I automatically thought of ringing you, but I didnt have my phone with your new number, stupid really. We shared nine years of friendship, shared a house for nearly a year and still only had one real arguement (not many people can say that), but as soon as we saw each other after that we were friends again. I hadnt seen you for months but god I am missing you now.
You had a zest for life and we shared some brilliant times, I can smile now thinking of them, your beautiful smile and your nutty laugh will be with me for always. Love you Trudi xxx
