How lucky am I to have you as my Nan. Our time with you would always have felt too short but I smile when I think of so many happy times that we’ve shared. New Years Eves with Shloer and Auld Lang Syne, big family celebrations, introducing you to your great grandchildren and countless cups of tea and cake are just some of these. Your kindness, spirit of adventure and enthusiasm for life are such an inspiration and we promise to carry it forwards. Say hi to Grampy for us. Lots of love from all of us Sarah, Chris, Joe and Jacob xxx

No words can express , my love and thoughts.
You brought me into this world and loved and cared for me.
Our Family have lost a great mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
But most important a true friend and companion to all she met.

Words can't express how sad I was to hear of Nan's passing. She was an incredible woman who I admired greatly. I will miss our visits together, whether it be going to the garden center, out for a meal, or visiting you at home and enjoying a cup of tea and lovely conversation. I will cherish those memories forever. I loved you as if you were my own grandmother. I feel honoured and blessed to have known you and to have had you in my life. You will be extremely missed by so many people. Rest in peace my dear Nanners.

My Mother-in-law for 40 years. Indestructible we thought. Certainly the backbone of the family. No more stories of the ‘last Bathford Flower Show’ and how you’re not going to enter this year only to hear that you have won the cup again. The stories of your escapades are flowing at the moment helped by the many writings you made to document your incredible life. Vic’s waiting, sleep well. Miss you always. Caroline Helps x
