Derek RobertHEMINGWAYUnexpectedly Thursday 20th June 2024 aged 79 years.

Younger son of the late Marguerite and Harold. Beloved husband of Pam. Dearest brother of the late Alan and Trish. A loving uncle of Rick, Rose, Jane and families.

Derek was a much loved and respected man who will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew him.

A cremation for Derek to be attended by family and close friends will be held Tuesday 23rd July at 11.30am. A service will follow at Toll Gavel Methodist Church, 2.30pm with everyone welcome to attend.

Family flowers only please but any donations, if so desired, may be left as you leave the service for the British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK.

I was absolutely shocked to hear about Derek passing away so suddenly. He was taken far too soon but is leaving a legacy behind him! A much loved member of the Tickton and surrounding villages community especially with his many years serving as the village milkman, which I had the pleasure of working with him and his lovely wife Pam during my teenage years. I am sending love and prayers to Pam and the rest of the family and I hope it brings them some comfort about how much he was cherished by everyone who knew him.

My Uncle and Godfather, the fondest memories going back many many years, thinking of those memories makes me smile so thank you Uncle Derek, I will miss you and hope you are reunited in heaven with Dad and Auntie Tricia, your hugs were the best, sending a huge one from me 🤗🤗 xxx
