EdwardHEMMINGSPassed away peacefully at home on Monday 4th May 2026, aged 87 years.

A much loved father to Nicola and Lyndsey. A cherished Grandad to Danielle, Sam and Will. Ted will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and neighbours.

A service will be held on Wednesday 3rd June at Markeaton Crematorium, Round Chapel at 14:00.

Family flowers only please.

How sad to see Ted has gone. He was my best man at my marriage to Jean. Jean has also passed away, just a few days ago on May 31st. My heart goes out to Ted’s family. You must have loved him dearly. He was a gentle man, a wonderful friend. I lost touch with him when our lives took different turns. I am now in New Zealand, but seeing Ted’s name transports me straight back to Derby in the 1950s.
