DavidHENDERSONSuddenly on November 30th 2022 at home, David aged 52 years. Much loved husband of Lyndsay, devoted dad of James, George, Yasi and Nazli, a dear son-in-law, brother, uncle and a good friend to many. David will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends. Funeral service and cremation on Tuesday, January 3rd 2023 at Carmountside Crematorium at 11.30am, will relatives please accept this the only intimation and friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations preferred to Men Unite in memory of David c/o the Funeral Director. Such a sad day . I’ve only found out this morning of the sad news 😪
I’ll always remember the time you convinced a group of lads from Meir that you wanted to get a football team together for one last season. By then we were pushing 40 and some of us hadn’t played football for at least 15 years!! But your big ideas determination and vision all came together as we won the league and the league cup !! Memories I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.

Rest in peace old friend and know Doubt when we meet again we’ll be playing football ⚽️

David, you have been a member of Chesterton Crusaders Walking Football for only a short while, but in this time you established yourself as a good friend to many. You shall be dearly missed by us all but your spirit will live on. Rest in peace 'Viking Dave'.
