Joan PatriciaHENNIGANof Windsor Avenue, Newchurch, passed away at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Wednesday, November 13, aged 88. Joan worked at Lambert Howarth in the shoe industry. She enjoyed reading, listening to music and spending time with family and friends. Wife to the late John and mother to the late Daryl, she leaves daughter Jill, grandchildren Andrew, Jonny, Georgia and Jennifer, greatgrandaughter Nancey, sons-in-law Alan and Andrew and her beloved dog Oscar. A celebration of life service was held at Burnley Crematorium on Wednesday, November 27 at 3.30pm, led by Revd Penny Warner. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Cancer Research UK.
